Gough Groves is a Derbyshire-based short-let management company, founded by James Bennetts. We manage Airbnb and serviced accommodation for landlords across the East Midlands, the same local team handling everything, so you don't have to.
Our story
Built to solve a problem most landlords know too well.
Gough Groves was founded by James Bennetts after seeing how many Derbyshire landlords were either leaving significant income on the table through DIY Airbnb management, or stuck in long-term tenancies that no longer made financial sense.
The problem wasn't the properties - it was the management. Inconsistent pricing, poor listing quality, patchy guest communication, and no strategy for the contractor demand that makes Derbyshire's short-let market so strong.
We built Gough Groves to fill that gap: a focused, local specialist that treats each property as a business - with the data, systems and local knowledge to back it up. We're not a national franchise. We're a Derbyshire operation, built for Derbyshire landlords.

We live and work in Derbyshire. We know which areas attract contractors, which weekends fill the Peak District, and what guests in each location actually expect. A national company applying blanket pricing from a regional desk cannot offer this.
Hands-off ownership
You own the property. We handle everything else. Guests, pricing, cleaning, maintenance, compliance - monthly report and payment is the only thing you need to think about.
